Friday post

1. Tell me about the origin of Javascript.
when the web was created in the early 1990s the web pages were static their was no way to interact with the web page. Having it do something in response to your actions required a addition of some form of programming language. 2 web browsers were popular Netscape and internet explorer. Netscape was the first to bring out a programming language that would allow people to interact with web pages. They called it livescript and it was integrated into the browser so that people could interact with the web pages. Anyone using the netscape would be able to interact with the web pages. another programming language called java started to become popular and so netscape decided to try and cash in on this by renaming language built into their browser to javascript, and so javascript was born.

2. I envision a peaceful scene. It is a of a sailboat on a lake. There is an island in the distance and a seagull in the sky. Looks like there are fish in the water. The sun is shining but slightly obscured by a cloud. The name on the boat is "UNRULY".
